Chers membres,

Tout d’abord, permettez-moi de vous souhaiter à toutes et tous un bon printemps, alors que le temps chaud revient progressivement.

Qui dit printemps, dit également budgets gouvernementaux ! Le gouvernement a récemment dévoilé son budget et malheureusement les changements que nous attendons n’ont pas été au rendez-vous. La mobilisation devra se poursuivre pour que les grands chantiers pour faire face à la triple crise de la santé, du logement et du revenu chez les aînés soient lancés pour de bon.

Pour sa part, le gouvernement fédéral déposera son budget le 16 avril prochain. Dans notre prochaine infolettre, nous pourrons faire le point sur le contenu de cet exercice. Bien entendu, nous garderons un œil particulièrement attentif sur les questions touchant au revenu, un aspect sur lequel le gouvernement fédéral a énormément d’influence.

L’AQDR veille sur les grands enjeux de société qui touchent particulièrement les personnes aînées. Nous avons des comités consultatifs nationaux dont le mandat est d’alerter et donner des avis sur ce qui se passe. Actuellement, nous avons besoin de personnes qui suivent les dossiers sur la santé et le maintien à domicile, l’habitation et le transport-mobilité.

Revenu Québec offre différents services pour aider les personnes aînées dans l'accomplissement de leurs obligations fiscales. Souvent, bien s’occuper de ses déclarations de revenus peut nous ouvrir la porte à des crédits ou autres avantages fiscaux auxquels nous ne pensions pas avoir droit !
